(More customer reviews)This toaster is quite possibly the worst toaster on the market.Avoid!While the slots are extra wide, the toaster itself is way too deep, making it impossible to remove anything that has been toasted.Expect to have to unplug the unit and then fish out toasted items with a fork or knife.While the stainless steel exterior LOOKS nice, it is very hot to the touch after toasting is complete.I have to make sure that my children don't remove their toast or they will get burned.Therefore, I have to laugh a bit at Hamilton Beach marketing this as a "cool touch" toaster.
Hamilton Beach has some serious revamping to do on this particular model.We will be replacing this toaster with another brand very soon.
