(More customer reviews)We like the topside cutting board because on our last toaster oven someone put a plastic item on top of it while it was still hot.The plastic melted and we could not quite get it off.This board allows one to stack things on top of the oven making the space more efficient. You could probably find a wooden board about the right size and place it on top of the oven as well but this one looks good.For us, it is worth it.
